"Tight Skirts sprayskirts

Does the company that makes the "Tight Skirts" brand of sprayskirts still exist? They have always been the most watertight sprayskirts. I have an old one that I bought second hand along with my perfect boat (FINALLY! :) ) the Descender C1, but I wouldn't mind sizing up from a medium...

New Images in Cboats

The picture of the Whitesell Descender is me running Soc-em-Dog :D My friend Rob Murphy took that one. The pictures of Paul Meinersmann and George Hedrick paddling the Dimension on Sect. IV were taken by both myself and Rob Murphy. I have ...

Thwart Fabrication question

I need to make an aluminum thwart for my Whitesell Descender. I have the old thwart from which I can remove the mounting clips. The thwart was badly bent and must be replaced. I have considered buying some 1-1/2" O.D. aluminum tubing from a fab shop ...

Hmmm

... as well-they are LIGHT and FAST (being primarily slalom boat designs). Are you SURE you just don't want a C1 with an enlarged cockpit :o ? Say, a Descender, Wide Ride, Blackwater, etc...? Other than that, I'll leave OC recommendations up to the OC experts :D

Has anyone paddled a esquif Nitro?

... that I got out of every other OC-1 I owned (Millbrook Fat Boy; Savage Skeeter; Dagger Caper, Cascade (c1), Ocoee; Mohawk Probes, XLs; Whitesell Descender, and Mad River Outrage X.) I since signed on as the east coast rep for Esuif. I'm 6'2, 200+ pounds. I've found that it runs big water beautifully, ...

It was Nasty

... the impasse; a mantra from a dead hotshot female kayaker from the 80's. Died of cancer. Also, the small boats don't hold a line like my Cuda or Descender which I had used a couple of times at 6 feet. Sorry for the poor showing, I was in the C boat hall of shame for the day. anyone convert a wavesport Y?

... is primarily a stern controlled boat. It is stable, tracks well, and boofs easily. I sold mine to a southeastern creeker that paddled a Whitesell Descender and he loves the Y boat. I purchased an H2 245 as a relacement because of its lower volume which accomodated my weight range. If you want ...

... belt or more foam for a knee machine. As to the Z I can now surf! It ate my innards watching fledging kayakers rip up the waves while my Cuda or Descender would wash off. I am now looking forward to the Yough and Gauley fest in my new new machine. C-boats rule! Dave Posted on Aug 15, 2001, 9:56 ...
