Aftershock

The skirt I made for my aftershock was just for the bow of the boat--covers the front airbag only. I cut it a little big to allow "lapping over" a seam in which I placed the elastic cord(walmart)--I did drill a tiny hole on each side(just ...

Aftershock bulkhead and skirt

My Aftershock has the Beluga foam seat as well as a belt which I'd definitely recommend. I added foam to the walls which helps a lot to displace water, and am considering decking off the front part. Christine- can you tell ...

I put a bulkhead in my Aftershock and it worked out terrifically! I also made a homemade skirt just for the bow and cut my bailing by half! After putting the foam bulkhead in, I finished foaming out the sides as well to help disperse water.

Can anyone post a review of this intriuging little boat?

I'm getting sick of my Aftershock after 3 long years. I'm considering a Spanishfly, but worried that it might be more of the same. Looked at a couple of Ocoees, considered a Phantom for a minute as well as the Maxim. Anybody got any ...

Aftershock

The Aftershock is undoubtedly very wet, & therefore has the problem of having to empty it out often (or install a pump). To date I've been impressed by its lateral stability. It was designed to 'throw enders like crazy' according ...

... has to be the CUFly - there is just nothing else like it. If you can only get one boat, I would look for a Quake, Skeeter or Spanish Fly. The Aftershock is really too wet for river running. Hope you find yourself a boat. Martyn

... was pretty amusing in terms of trying to get to shore, but hey, its a canoe, right? I agree with Kev, this is a different creature even than the aftershock, quake etc. Super loose on a wave (wants to spin), quite playful. Awwww, now it is kinda growing on me...

It makes a great c1, just be aware of your edges, if not you'll be rolling! It seems faster than the aftershock ...

... a bit like a canoe. Posted on Nov 13, 2002, 6:39 AM Mutant by Ron Thanks James. Good advise to consider. Can you compare the Y to the Quake or Aftershock. I wonder if the Y is as responsive. I paddled Quake for a couple seasons. Went to C1- X cus Quake was too wet. Quake was very responsive ...

... little open boat? by James The little open boat (hardly an open boat at all) looks like it would be super super super slow, shorter than an dagger aftershock, wide. too bad there is no side profile of the hull. a boat under 7 feet with a lap full of water on board, I'm not sure that would work. ...
